I got into web design the hard way. A company charged me $3,000 for a website, delivered something embarrassing, and left me with no way to edit a single word. Instead of accepting it I taught myself how to build websites from scratch and have not stopped since. By day I am a Controls Engineer in the solar and renewable energy industry and my favorite part of the job has nothing to do with the engineering. It is the contractors on the field. The electricians, the HVAC techs, the guys actually getting their hands dirty. Corporate life was never for me and I have always been most at home working alongside the ones who actually do the work.

Then there is Emily. We have been together three years and it just so happens she is an absolute powerhouse. With five years of CRM experience across startups and large companies she has built systems from the ground up more times than she can count.
